Snails look very extraterrestrial up close, but at the same time they have an air of wisdom about them. What do you think?
I think this is a very good macro. The details are perfect, especially on the shaft-like things sticking up out of its head. Do you know if those are supposed to be eyes on the ends? If not, I wonder how they know where they're going.
