Kyle is born with a spark. Or many sparks. He's got a little something that is always pushing him forward, although he is rarely sure of where "forward" actually leads. Very active and excited, it's difficult to make him shut up ─ he babbles all the time. He babbles when he's happy, when he's sad, angry, nervous. And he's nervous quite a lot, considering he's just as stressed with everything as he is awkward in social situations. Nonetheless, he tries hard to be of good company and usually succeed, considering he's very open minded and adaptive. When nothing troubles his mind (which happens... more or less often), Kyle is mostly laid back and relaxed. He enjoys himself quite easily and likes being around people just as much as he could like a peaceful evening on the beach or go on a scavenger hunt.
•• APPEARANCE
Just as he keeps a young mind, his body is still very youthful and vigorous. As an active person, Kyle is always on the move and possesses a good stamina. Although he is not tall and naturally have wide hips and breasts, he thankfully have started his HRT quite early and benefits from the muscles development induced by the testosterone. When he stops taking his treatments for weeks or months (usually when he is in his seal form), his features become somewhat less sharp and he gains more weight and curves. He also preferes wearing loose clothes, or at least for the top, considering he's quite pudic. While he can appear uncaring about his clothing, he still thinks apparels are a way to express oneself and he's satisfied with his piercing or wearing makeup occasionally. At last, he received the scar on his back from a shark and still suffers from lower back pain from time to time.
•• HISTORY
He is the third child of a interacial union, between a Mexican man and a Selkie Irish woman, although he and his siblings had no idea of their true nature. As the family grew larger, they left their peaceful village to move to the city of Monterrey. Coincidentally, his mother disappeared at this exact moment. Their father made them believe she was dead, when in reality, she had finally got a hold on her Selkie skin (which was trapping her on land) and fled, leaving her children behind. A couple of years later, Kyle joined his older brother in San Francisco and, away from his conservative father, he finally embraced his trans identity. At his 18th anniversary, he received a phone call from his mother, discovering she was very much alive and not quite human. Of all his family, he is the only one who tried to believe her and had the shock of his life when he realized she was actually telling the truth. Ever since he found out about his shapeshifting ability, he's been disappearing for months to spend time at large, having some difficulties to conciliate his animal nature with urban life.

• He's pescetarian and (obviously) an animal defender.
• He's been dancing since his childhood and is still quite active.
• He likes art but preferes observing than practicing, although he's good with graffitis.
• He's always up to try out new stuff (sports, food, substances...), despite his insecurities.

I think I'm really getting a hold on drawing humans. At last. I spent lots of time drawing during my trip to France, and it feels great being more comfortable around humanoid bodies!
I developped my character quite a lot during my time away and I'm really eager to give everyone a good reference. Maybe not as filled as this one, because I don't have the patience to do this everytime, but my main characters will at least have something like that. We'll see for the other ones..
