Description
Some historical events of the Inherent Universe, an original content alternate history super hero universe from Runamok Comics. As the world became transfixed with WWII, all of the globes major powers focusing on warfare and survival of a growing conflict, Dr. Howard James made a miraculous discovery. He discovered a dormant genetic code interlaced with our own that seems to activate in some individuals, giving them higher function or increased aptitude at specific things, on a genetic level. Knowing this was possibly the absolute worse time in history to introduce such a discovery, Howard James and his ignored theories disappeared into the night. There was a first wave of test subjects (children of couples who volunteered) unknown to the world, and then after Dr. James and teams under him activated the Inherent Gene in random places all over the globe, he announced to the world what he had done. That's the short of it lol. There was a first generation of humans with amazing abilities (not including the first wave, which is referred to as Gen Zero to those that know about them), although they were relatively weak then compared to now. During the 2nd generation much more acceptance was gained and many social and technological issues were conquered. As the main narrative occurs humanity has produced the 3rd generation of Inherents (humans with amazing abilities), with more Inherent abilities arising and in greater intensity than the 2nd generation, and we, as the reader, are witness to its historical events and struggles. The events above are some of the changes that happened on Earth due to the Inherent Gene as well as some of the external forces that appeared due to our species having achieved a new evolutionary stage.
