As I say in my deviantID: "... it is brick, wood or stone with which a house gave us the comfort and protection ...", but rather, it has also provided it to our ancestors . That's why I like to recall their stories, whether they are famous or not ...
In the background it may be that I prefer people rather than buildings, and I try as much as possible, not to judge their ancient actions with my today's eyes ...
It's funny that you tell me about ghosts, because when I write about a person, after several days of searching, I really feel to know him and, sometimes, they tell me the direction to take to tell their story ...
If I can instruct you while entertaining you, it shows that what I do is not useless ...
Thank you for the good comments

Thank you so much for your reply, I rarely expect anything I say to gather a response
and as to my ghost they are the spirits of the older trees and as often as I hike and to
the rarely traveled non trails I hike most are from the time the west was becoming populated
with the sweat and blood of early settlers. There is this one valley not very wide where as
I walk through I get these cold breezes that wrap themselves around me as children would
when hugging your legs.
The cold human shape size winds are a group of settlers that were killed by Indians. They
were camping that early evening and the first time I encountered them the children ran up to
me and held onto my legs laughing and playing. To my right and left about fifty yards each way
were the adults, waving at me to come and visit with them.
They never frightened me as you may know that feeling for there demeanor was gentle and lively.
It was warm that day and ever so sunny so the cool to cold little breezes were so clear.
I should write you once and tell you the rest of the story as I saw it. I couldn't help them I could
only see. As to the trees or tree, my first encounter was Mr Macabe, that's a good story and so
good a story teller is he, haha.. I call him my friend..and had even found his girlfriend and family
as you see in my Gallery.
When I read into your works I could sense that it would be safe to open up to you, not so sure as
to why but I felt safe. I've never been anymore than I am and don't claim to be, but my hikes and walks
are in no way a form of staying in shape or trying to look younger than the fifty-six that I am. I hike
because I feel at home, as if I belong like the mountain lions and bears. I feel the life I remember the
most of mine was in the second to fifth century. So simple an explanation as it is you may have
guessed it's about a girl that I seek.
A love story about a man who is me and not..
Since you are a great writer and I am below Novice please try and catch the drift of what I am saying
so that I do not let you down so much... I truly feel.. I,.. like you, can go on and on until all is said because
it is all tied together for all the different paths come from me or lead to me..
Have you ever met someone and felt you connected in how comfortable they made you feel? I'll let
you go and I sort of feel obligated to say I'm sorry for taking your time but I don't feel this way that often...
Again thank you so much for the reply and for allowing me to bend your ear, hahaha....Miss Lapointe.
It was a pleasure to have made your acquaintance._______________________________________-Richard_Lionheart..aka:duckie

Hello Richard,
Sorry, but I do not follow you in this kind of delirium ... when I spoke of spirit that guided me, I did it in a figurative sense, not real ... I'm not very "mystic" ... I prefer to keep both feet on the ground, for the time that the hard life ...
It is always a pleasure to receive and respond to messages, but please, you could make it shorter ... If you have any interesting stories to tell as well, you could do enjoy every DA member by posting in your deviations ...
Thanks again for your good comments ...
