`Once upon a time there were three little sisters,' the Dormouse began in a great hurry; `and their names were Elsie, Lacie, and Tillie; and they lived at the bottom of a well--'(quoted from Alice's Adventure in Wonderland chapter VII: A Mad Tea Party)
Neee, Happy New Year everybody!!
They are Dormouse and the three little sisters in his story, they're very ill 'cuz they lived in the bottom of treacle well
I can't imagine "a treacle well" with people lived in it, so I draw berries instead of treacle, ewww, it must be so sticky, viscous, sweet

I like the idea of the berries better, too... I imagine a treacle well would be like a tar pit...or something just as grim..but who knows in Wonderland, maybe a Treacle Well was the best place ever....

I say, the one hugging the Dormouse is Lacie (if you scramble Lacie it becomes Alice, she's the middle sister), Elsie is the oldest sister who's sleeping on the ground... (L.C. were Lorina's first two initials, that's why 'Elsie') and the youngest Tillie is at the Dormouse's leg (Tillie was Edith's nickname...)...so practically Lewis Carroll was using the Lidell sisters in his story...I would say this is the beautifullest interpretation ever!^-^ But somehow I like to think the Dormouse as Carroll himself being hugged by Alice...hehe...this is the cutest!>w<

I love how the sisters are just draped everywhere sleeping, while the Doormouse is sitting there like O.O....
And is the sister leaning on him have a different outfil for some special reason? I just noticed that.

The Dormouse looks exactly like the boy who played the Dormouse in an adaptation of the Tea Party scene I did for summer theatre school (I was Alice ^.^). This is such a cute picture! I love the colors!

I adore the colors, and the girl's shiny green socks and outfits, as well as their hair styles! I really love how the dormouse is wearing red clothes complimented nicely with green (those eyes are beautiful), and how you drew him. He looks like such a sweetie here. This is deffinately one of my favorite works from you. I don't know what else to say *_* The CG is stunning, the characters are stunning, lighting and lineart is gorgeous~~~
