This image was taken in 2002 at the Berlin Zoo with my Olympus OM-1 (MD) using one of my zoom lenses (I don't recall which, one goes to 105, the other 210 or somesuch).

This is the first photo, and, actually, the first thing I've scanned using my new scanner. Since my old scanner is technically my parents' and, at that, is over five years old, I figured it was high time I got a new one that would better cater to my needs. I ended up with the Epson Perfection 4990 Photo, which is capable of scanning negatives and slide film up to 8X10". This image is the result of the first scan of a 35mm negative. I am very, very pleased.

Yes, do expect more photography from me in the future, especially since I can now scan in some of my med. format film!
