The last sunrays of the day illuminate the stone structure, making it even more impressive to look at. 'Natsu Dragneel, savior of Fiore' it says. I had been visiting his grave with Happy at least once every day.
It's been five days since the battle with the Alvarez Empire ended. Still, the memories stay fresh in my mind and the losses are still evident. My guild, Fairy Tail, along with the other guilds are helping the people of Fiore to return to their normal lives. Or at least, close to normal. The land had been thrown into disarray because of Eileen's spell and many people were sent into quite some dangerous places. As for the battle outcome... I can't stop thinking about how else it could've ended. Could I have prevented some deaths? Was there no other way to defeat Zeref and Acnologia? Was it worth sacrificing it all for...? Was it, Natsu...?
"Lucy... I think we should head back. We have the king's party to attend to." Happy says, gently breaking the silence between us.
"Yeah, you're right... but I want to stay a little longer." I say with a sigh. I've been sitting in front of the grave for a while now and yet I still don't want to leave. I... really miss him.
"Oooi, you guys." A voice comes from behind us. I turn around to see Gray walking up. Once he was close, he gave a short nod towards Natsu's grave and then turned back to us. "Our carriages are here. It's time to leave."
Happy looks at me, waiting for me to act. "Alright, I'm coming." I say and stand up to convince Happy that I'm really coming. Happy smiles a bit and sprouts his wings to go after Gray, who already was walking away. I noticed before that he doesn't like to come to Natsu's grave. Maybe he bears a feeling of regret?
I brush the dirt off of my skirt and look back at the grave. He had used Lumen Histoire to get rid of Acnologia and also Zeref... eventually killing himself. The Alvarez forces then retreated after several other allies were taken down too. It was a tough battle, which we couldn't have won without Natsu. Everyone, including me, deeply thank him for this.

"Then, see you later." I mutter with a slight smile, before turning around and pacing away.
I really miss his presence, but slowly it dawns on me that he wants me to be happy instead of sad. Happy has said so before and so has Erza. They all grieved, but they also kept in mind that Natsu wants to have us move forward, wants to have Fairy Tail move forward.
As the wind gently picks up and the grass around me start dancing with the breeze, I imagine him standing behind me and smiling.

More than happy with what he did,
because it saved his family.
