Omg i completely FORGOT to post these character design sketches i did some time ago for Weekly Art Challenges XC
So the challenge was to design a hero and their rival. I did so much research on ballerinas - such an embodiment of grace and beauty! <3 Though in the end i really had to rush it, cuz LIFE xC
The hero is a shy introvert girl Bethany, whose secret passion is ballet. Her mother is a martial arts teacher, and she taught her daughter well. Beth combined her fight techniques with her graceful dancing - and created an elegant yet fierce, graceful yet powerful and efficient battle style. Her true self shnes when she puts on her ask and goes out to protect her city <3
