Full version of Grantaire/Starbuck's app image, sans tattoo. His physical appearance (and a lot of his personality) is based on Art, the cat I live with.

The actual cat is being a little monster right now, and I'm regretting having taught him to sit on my lap when he wants my attention. It would be more practical if he were a smaller cat, or I had longer legs. As it is, he has to curl into a ball just to fit on my lap, and hangs past my knees otherwise.

This took a long time. I don't know how long. A long time is how long. A long ass time. I kept redoing sections of stripes -- especially since every time I'd look at Art, I'd realise that his stripes had changed (spread out/broken up more) since the reference photos I was using had been taken 8I

Very nice! Wish I could make cats look good like this. Oh and did you know that in Kentucky there are a ton of cats that look like this? It's really weird and makes wonder if someone is secretly cloning them. I even saw 3 cats that seem to be litter mates with this pattern and they look like identical triplets. Really weird stuff goes on in Kentucky so cloning is oddly a possibility.

Thank-you!

& hahah, I doubt cloning is the culprit!
Brown mackerel tabby is actually the most common colour/pattern in domestic cats. Thanks to the dominant genes that cause them, this combo is pretty much guaranteed to pass on to 30 - 50% of the offspring of any cat that looks like that. The same can be said for white patches/spots and polydactyly, as they're also caused by dominant genes. : )

LOL I guess. The triplets really do look like clones though. Guess they must be identical triplets. They have the same amount of white and same amount of brown mackerel tabby spotting in exactly the same places. Can cats even be identical twins or triplets? Never heard of it before.
