Description
A viking inspired leather armor I have made. Hand dyed leather bands are riveted on a black leather base. Edges are sewn on and decorated with a proverb in runes from an Icelandic saga.The man who’d beaten every previous opponent is the one I’d like most as my adversary.
Hrafnkell’s saga
The sleeves read Haraldson on one side and Wotanssons on the other. The arm openings are edged with sheepskin. Decorative bronze-colored oval plaques complete the design.
Matching arm guards are lined with sheepskin.

Right, it was one of my main concerns that it would hold well together. The stitching was quite time consuming, but it was the only way to make sure everything would hold. It is not supposed to be used in combat, but I guess it could...
