This random dream I had a while ago. Making it into a plot.

Your class in life is determined by the upper class at birth. The ACTUAL upper class. I'll get to that in a moment.

The working class of this world is super poor. Like...they worked more for just having a roof over their heads, not much else. Most have to wait for this mobile soup kitchen to come by if they wanted their meager rations of food for their families.

They're also, obviously, the biggest.

Could they riot and rebel, being what keeps the world afloat? Absolutely. But they don't...and for good reason.

The next class is the warrior class. They're allowed better lives on the whole. If they come from a worker class family...they don't get to know them very well. These people are conditioned at a young age to enforce the rules laid down by the upper class. They're rumored to be brainwashed...and that's not far off, really.

They're secluded from the worker class completely, only coming down to that part of town to...enforce or scare.

The next class is the reaper class...which is one of the more feared class. They travel the worker class areas at night, spiriting people breaking curfew away to places only whispered of in rumors...

Sometimes...they even slip into houses to steal people right out of their beds. They use arcane witchcraft in the form of powders and smoke...those who lay eyes on them are rarely seen again...and it's said that they work for the TRUE upper class...

Next is the upper class...which lives off the fruits of the working class' labor.

They lead perfect lives, seeing the lowly working class as little more than toys. Sometimes they'll send gifts to the working class homes...which are something of a game. A gamble, if you will. Sometimes the gift is good; more food, maybe even some money. But a lot of the time...it's a trap; poisoned meals or cursed coins...

Sometimes...people get gifts wrapped in black satin bows...these are gifts from reapers. They are also a gamble, really...they can mean that they will be visiting you soon; a small note in a box...or they may give you some of their special drug- Reaper Stardust...which you can use on yourself or others...they say that it will possess you in the night while giving you the best dreams of your life...and you'll wander off in your sleep...and no one will see you again. Everyone has different ideas about where you go...

THE FINAL CLASS is one few believe in...the Cleric class.

It's said that they are truly in control of everything. People whisper that Clerics can control whomever they want using the forbidden crystals found in the old mining sites outside of town. These crystals are thought to hold terrible power to corrupt and enslave...

These two are Reapers of the two separate sub-classes: Raven and Doll.

Raven Reapers are the older version, now 'discontinued'. They wear cloaks of shadows and plague doctor masks, or sometimes large bird skulls, on their heads. Every movement they make (apart from travelling) is somewhat bird like, and they rarely speak, though sometimes they will say short, simple sentences in distorted voices. They do not walk or run, but 'wisk' around in a shadowy shroud before reforming where they wish to be. They have some shapeshifting abilities using their shadowy cloaks- making wings and weapons and even extra limbs.

Doll Reapers are the newer 'line' of Reapers, wearing porcelain masks with different expressions. They tend to avoid wearing a lot of black, instead wearing clothing fit for an upper class citizen, and have four arms. They speak in beautiful, sing song voices, and their movements have the grace and precision of an expertly puppeteered marionette. They can even contort their bodies, moving all joints 360 degrees. They rarely touch the ground with their needle like legs, seeming to float as though on strings. This lack of friction allows them to move at breakneck speeds, and their reaction time is uncanny.

They typically do not work together, mind, so seeing a Raven and a Doll interact positively with one another is...rare.

Ima name these two...Marduk and Aeron.

Marduk is a quiet thing, as most Ravens are. He spends most of his free time making new arcane drugs to use on those Aeron brings. He's not a cruel soul, though. He just does his job. He also has a soft spot for children...which can make it hard for him to do his patrols at night, since he does not want to scare them. He lets Aeron do that.

Aeron is a silver tongued snob who enjoys tormenting his prey. He's not great at making the powders and smokes used in Reaper magic...but he's very good at using them. He teams of with Marduk, an arcane magic genius, so that Marduk does not have to go out and capture people himself, as he does not really like doing so.
