Since the results of the American McGee's Alice contest have been posted, I can now post my favorite shot of the shoot ~LadyVincira and I did special for the contest!Deep in the wood (not really, just the woods of my backyard) we were able to get this shot.
Eye make-up done by yours truly. I also provided the petticoat and the camera/photography skills for the shoot.

Please do not use our art for anything without our permission. There are two creative parties at work here and would be terribly insulting to both involved if our work was used without consent on both the cosplayer and the photographers behalf.

Friday was AndrAIa from ReBoot! and that was the only day we really talked. After that was Hikaru on Saturday, a Silent Hill nurse Saturday night and a Little Sister on Sunday.

No surprise, the mask, natural hair color, and face paint might make my identity hard to decipher from last year. But otherwise I wouldn't have done a very good cosplay. XD
OMG Silent Hill nurse and Little Sister, I love those games! That's the WHOLE reason I came to Sakura con, for the gore games.Bioshock is supreme to all. Not a huge anime fan, but you don't have to be to enjoy the convetion and meet great people!

Same here. X3 Stuck with the same basic color scheme but going from all blue, helmet, wings and a stomach thing to blue with skin showing and heels is a drastic change. X3
I've been a Silent Hill nurse since 2008 and am in the process of updating my dress. You should be a nurse too! Multiple nurses is always more fun then one. Which is why my best friend is a nurse as well. X3

I actually am working on getting my group to all be Silent Hill Nurses. Nurse are cool, but you really need a group to give the right affect. That's so cool. Right now we seem to be looking at Hercules, my niece and I have the skin to pull off The Muses.

Oh dude, ditto on Esmeralda, they're really aren't enough dark skinned options as is. Her, Pocahontas and Mulan were my favorites growing up. (surprise surprise)

Luckily there is a steadily growing increase in darker skinned tones. Mostly in the newer Final Fantasy games I've noticed. Not that I have that problem, I'm white as a sheet 11 months of the year and red as a lobster the other 1. X3

Hardly, and you'll see someone blue before you see an ethnic as a main character in one of those games. Also, who wants to do nothing but final fantasy all the time?

Very true.
Yeah, I had second degree burns on both my thighs when I was five and have been a major burn risk ever since. I can be red as a lobster after an hour in the sun with 50spf on. But I love the sun to much to stay out of it soooooooo.....as my dermatologist says, if you won't stay out of it then be prepared to suffer with it cause you'll get no sympathy from me. X3 I love my dermatologist. He knows me so well!

Are there any stronger skin creams you can use? I can't imagine having a limit on Sun time, I only once have had sun burn. It was very minor too, an I had been out all day, no protection under the Californian Sun. I'm lucky I was βͺborn that way!βͺβͺ * puts sunglasses on*

There are, but even though I burn easy I think anything over 50 is way to extreme. So I'll relax in the shade, reapply as needed and drink lots of water instead.

I wouldn't go so far as to say 'limitless accurate.' You've got that too with the proper makeup technique. ^^ Airbrush, waterbased makeup, and lots of patients are your friend!

Rainbow colors are one thing, but if a wig alone isn't good enough, I'm not interested. =3=
But I've lined up a list of (disney) characters I can do. Curse my push to cosplay Hercules this year! Now I can't cut my hair, I'd rather do as much natural as possible. Muh >
