At my school we have a stairwell where the students are allowed to just express themselves on the walls. It's called (surprise surprise) The Graffiti Stairwell. Last week I bought a paintbrush, got out my tub of gesso and scrounged together as many sharpies as I could find. I didn't really have a plan. I just wanted to try drawing on something that isn't paper. I think it worked out pretty well. I think next time I'll try to hunt down some wider sharpies though.
