Description This is a commission my good friend Michelle, the gamemaster of the game in which I play Aelynn in. I've actually been working on this for a very long time, and a lot of credit goes to Michelle for her patience. She was very supportive of me while I explored the grand idea I had for her commission, and never once was reproachful when I had to set it aside for months at a time when life got in the way. I'm quite happy with the way this turned out, I think I broke a lot of personal boundaries with this image. It's probably the only image that I've created with a full background this complex. If you haven't figured it out from the quote, the image is of the same character, only pictured both as a youth and an adult. The right side of the image is during spring and the left half in autumn to help separate the two figures in time. M'ayzial is a good-aligned drow and a cleric-mage of Mystra, the goddess of magic in Faerun (AD&D). I hope I can be lucky enough to produce more artwork of this quality in the future, and have such wonderful people to work with too! Thank you, Michelle!

Wow, really nice. I love the kid especially, very cute and sweet, I suck at drawing kids. Very nice drow chick too. What's with the ferret?

Very pretty... Loved everything in this pic but the bg and the little girl are the best thing in it!

That is gorgeous! I'm sure she was very pleased she waited so long.
I really like the concept behind this too, both views of the character are so wonderful. I like how you took into account the differant eye styles to use and body positions.
The ribbons in the younger's hair are so sweet and girlish.
The cover and binding of the book the older carries is so detailed it looks real!
Excellant work!

I had seen this one in your journal, and I think you did a really lovely job. The colors are very strong and vivid, and you did an excellent job of showing distance in the bg. Love the hair on both versions of her also ^_^

you are a really good artist - love the pic, the drow seems so totally out of place - smiling and enjoying the sunshine - freaky.
