Yup, it's a natural occurrence! A long time ago, volcano lava cooled very quickly (as it came in contact with water) and then crystalised. Thanks for your comment!

That's such an amazing place, I've always wanted to go there. Very nice shot too, I love the red-ish color of the rocks and the blue of the water together.
