Description
I like to think after the trials she was put through she got her goddess abilities and was immediately overwhelmed with the souls who were speaking to her. In this illustration this is my own version of Psyche whose realm is the Soul Vale. A place where she can cultivate and nurture souls. This is not the afterlife for these souls but rather the beginning and a repair shop. Psyche as the goddess of the soul is able to see, hear and tend to souls.

Psyche is said to be so beautiful she rivalled Aphrodite, this design is a teenage Psyche who has just gone through the trials poor girl. She has these butterflies that tend to the souls in her lavender fields. Butterfly wings are often found on her statues or a butterfly is found on artwork of her often. So I thought what a full circle moment if her soul vale was a garden where butterflies helped her.

Lavender is also often associated with her, it can represent many things including: purity of heart, faithfulness, serenity, virtue, grace, and peace of mind. Which I feel is pretty accurate for her. So I like to think her garden would be made completely of lavender with a few tulips possibly for her daughter.

I don’t know if any of you have ever read the love story or know the trials psyche had to face to be with Cupid but our girl was tortured by Aphrodite at one point 😵‍💫😭

When she received her goddess title and abilities she heard the love the souls had for her she cried tears of happiness and her butterflies swarmed to her. The soul vale had a queen, and the souls had a caretaker.
