Call me crazy, and this is just a theory, I think Cinder or Adam wanted Yang to get arrested... Because that's where Roman is. Prison. Think about it, since the grimm are already on their way to the Vytal festival and Yang's probably going to the slammer. It'd be the best cover up for her to break out and giving Roman enough of a chance to escape. Not only would this be detrimental to the relations of Vale and Atlas, but would be horrendous to humanities survival against grimm.

It's just an idea but all the same yes... Maybe not taunt her but deceive her into helping him break out. Not to mention Roman did act a bit willing with the general. I have a feeling Cinder's pulling the strings to many things. The maidens for example. I mean if Roman was able to get his hand's on a Atlesian Knight-290, then I'm pretty confident he knows of the military's other secret projects. I don't know what there plan it, but I can tell it's turning the nations against each-other... Because without order chaos rains, and Cinder will use that to her advantage.

So amazing he made the poor puppet boy ditch school and go to an island to have fun. Pinocchio was given something he wanted, and he took it. And you know what Pinocchio and Yang share? They're just misguided... and in a lot of heat. During those times of darkness and high anxiety people become desperate. So desperate to survive they'll do anything... Other options open.. And I'd also like to point out that she's not exactly the sharpest tool in the shed. Her anger can only get her into so much trouble. I wouldn't be surprised if there has been other incident's where Yang has gotten into trouble because of her rage... It won't help her this time... It'll just make things worse for her as the time beats on.
