A howl into the nightsomething just don't feel right
the bed is cold next to me
why can't people just see
I'm lonely in the night
I'm waiting for the light
a cry escapes from me
how lonely can one man be?
I'm tired of being alone
a place lies as cold as stone
within me, an empty place
that I'm scared to face
for there is no one their for me
no one to call my own
no one to hold me tight
as I lay here late at night
white fur and black paws
the spirit in me doth call
I run deep in the night
a will to scream a will to fight
emotions bottled deep inside
burst from within a darker side
I can't keep them in so here I scream
feet pounding down the street
there is only so much I can take
only so much emotion I can fake
no one sees what I hide
for it is my darker side
