Theme suggested by in a lack of inspiration on my part..
5 elements :
Dragon: Immortality, infinite knowledge, misunderstood ; all things dragons inspire in me.
Dark figure: mysterious. There an instant, gone the next. As I will always be, nothing but a memory in the people I meet. Never in the same place very long...
FOX: my native american sign, represents cunning, dicreet, cleverness, adaptability, quick thinking and wisdom.
Spider: URK! nasty critters... Just a reminder to overcome my fears. If not for that I would never had made it this far.
Philosophers stone: Immortality, search for 'Gold'... which is a metaphor for purity, understanding the universe and one's self. A search for truth.

The fiery background : My urge to change. Often enough I'll burn all attachments to start a new life all over. Out of boredom. Just to see where life takes me, and to one day look back with no regrets.
The symetry (equivalent elements on both sides) : show's how constant I am. Even in a world of change, I keep up the pace and change at a constant rate. It also shows : ''I say something, I do so''. Equivalent trade.
Also because Francis' mother told me I was symetrical..

Finally respecting the Theme of the Totem, It reads top to bottom, or bottom to top.
