Description well i seem to be drawin less an less these days, just different things in my life taking precidence but i still love drawing. been working on this one for several days on my lunches at work.
i saw this amazing piece by jim lee and was so inspired by it i decided to redo it with my own characters. i think i changed it enough to call it my own, no tracing here just looked at it for reference.
these are my characters from left to right Inferno,Protector,StarCrystal. the symbols on protectors armor are a symbol i remembered from a dream and i have never seen it anywhere else. they are actually standing on a large version of that symbol.
i hope everyone enjoys this work.

this drawing is good,
but i think they're look rather unproportional, esp for the front man
his legs is too short.

I enjoy this retro comic style. Its hard to find an artist who can pull it off well, and you do just that.

I love the amount of detail and the character in the middle is my favorite. Although he almost looks like he's wearing high-heals just because of the way it's shaded. Also, I think you either need a larger paper or a smaller pen. I know that kind of stuff is hard to find at work, but I would recommend a pen that isn't so leaky. Like here for example: [link] I did that with a crappy bic ballpoint pen in a notepad. I bought a pack of them at office max for two bucks. They're cheap but effective. You can still get the dark lines and shading with them, while having it look a little more precise.

actually this was done with a mechanical pencil and darkened on the computer. my pencils just look like inks because i draw so darkly. sad to hear this looks sloppy. i'll work on clarifying my work.

I actually bet it would look better if you hadn't darkened it on the computer. When doing pencil there are a lot of strokes and such that are better shown than hidden. I didn't mean to say it looks outright sloppy but generally altering things too much in photoshop can actually lessen the pieces impact.

I CERTAINLY UNDERSTAND ABOUT THAT, WILLIAM. IT'S VERY DIFFUCULT. JUST KEEP DRAWING AS MUCH AS YOU HAVE TIME FOR.
