I've never had a baby chick myself, but we raised a batch of them in class in third grade once. They were sooooooooooooooooo cute!! You can buy them here from some people for like a nickel.

And that sounds so adorable and I envy you. I don't think you can get them just like that here. But I know my mother, that grew up in the scanian countryside, as a teenager had a neighbour whose parents were hen farmers. And they kept having too many baby chicks and would each year have a chick lottery - people often made a run for it before they were spammed with baby chicks, haha!

I actually find them to look cute as adscolents, as well. owo But one of my favourite animals are hyenas, and also rats and I find snakes superadorable, so sometimes I wonder if my opinion counts, haha!

Haha, I used to keep frogs and snakes and lizards. I even had a baby rabbit and baby crows, but they all died (not the snakes and frogs and lizards, I usually would let them go. Oh, yeah, and turtles ^^) Ah, the scrappy life of country girls. My favorite was when my sister and I saved a baby deer from my old dog and I got to carry it back into the woods, so cute and touching!!

But snakes can be really cool It is an animal's personality, not its fuzziness that makes a pet!

Lucky you! I have owned most pets possible over here, but I still want to own a dog again. And bunnies, guinea pigs sometime again, and a little mini piggy! But eh, I don't have the money, time, nor space right now. Someday, though. 8D
