About Kid Tom in Knight of Hope/Spectacles of Fate:

Tom is the main character in both Knight of Hope and in Spectacles of Fate. He is a courageous and brave young boy with a heart of gold. During his early childhood, Tom lost his parents as they were killed by evil demon beasts when he was three years old before being saved by one of the Naoki Warriors and was raised as an orphan in the Naoki Caves. Now eleven years old, he was training with Naoki warriors on becoming knights until an attack from Delovich's army. One of the warriors who was training him tells Tom to rescue the other orphans and escape as they to fend them off, as he escapes, Tom was summoned by the Elder Naoki and tells Tom about the lore of Camedon and the Noontide before giving him a relic and sends Tom to find Hilda. Tom ventures into Camedon to find Hilda as she explains Delovich's plot to rule Camedon and tells him to find four other relics before Delovich does. After finding the five relics and the Flute of Opening with him, he heads to the Tower of Evolution and access to the TriSword's chamber, regaining memories from her older self as he learns that Delovich has managed to take over Camedon. Now pulling out the TriSword, he ages back to his older self and goes back to his present timeline to rescue Hilda and defeat Delovich once and for all. In Spectacles of Fate, Tom encounters an evil human spirit named Sunhead and steals an item that was valuable to him. Trying to chase after him, he ends up falling into a hole sending him to a realm called Sontesseria. After falling, he ends up turning into a Sunhead creature himself. Trying to find a way to himself back to normal and out of Sontesseria, he meets an magic salesman who can turn him back to normal if he can find a silver flute and a pair of rainbow spectacles and warns him that this realm would be destroyed in one week by a cursed Sun of Flamia. After completing the salesman's request, he gets turned back into a human and explains that there is a way to prevent the apocalypse is by using a sacred pair of spectacles that can destroy the evil Sun spirit. In the end of Spectacles of Fate, Tom leaves the realm of Sontesseria and heads back to Naoki Forest.

This Tom is the third incarnation of Tom from the Tom Chronicles series, along with his older self.

This version of Tom lost his parents when he was three years old from evil demon beasts before being rescued by an unknown Naoki Knight.

Tom was trained in swordsmanship by Naoki Warriors when he was eleven.
