Ehm... yeah... eeh...Ok.
The pose is the same that in the movie, for obvious reasons, I think...
And... eh... Yeah! Interesting practice to do the same pose with a character with totally different body built, right?....... yeah, ok... you don't trust me when I say that, do you...?
I'm very very busy... but wanted to do a sketch to relax instead of sleeping... Who needs sleep? hahaha........
Oh, and as a side note, please, don't start saying that you like it because you don't like Kovu or anything like that... I love Kovu as much as I love Nuka, so I'd be very sad if you said that U_U

I like it because I think Nuka is an underrated character. I don't really see him with a mate that young (Kovu only just got his mane & I like Kovu too) but I love that someone thought to use him in a nice/loving scene

Yeah, I can understand - I love Kovu too, and I like the Kovu and Kiara pairing. But I also like that alternative.
That being said, it seems Kovu and Nuka were one and only character in the first drafts of TLK2, and that character's name was close to Nuka's (though I don't remember exactly what it was). Because of that, I can very well see an AU with the Nuka and Kiara pairing instead of Kovu.
That being said, yeah, I'm sad he's so underrated - I think he's lovely and very cute. Even his final scene in the movie was shortened. What a shame...

Yeah, me too. Nuka is an interesting character. While I think of him as funny at some times, he mostly makes me sad, and I would have loved to see more of him, and in a more positive light.
You've also commented on my sketches compilation pic and asked about Fidget and Olivia (read my other answer before if you haven't done yet haha!). If you like Nuka, I think you'll like Fidget as much as I do, if you watch the movie and read the little comic. He's a very cute character, and shares some similarities with Nuka in my opinion.

I like this pairing except that Nuka and Simba are technically cousins so Nuka and Kiara pairing feels so right but it is so wrong...

I figured he could be and I believe he is, reason why is in the beginning he says "Kovu Kovu Kovu, Scar wasn't even his father, just took 'em in." And I figured he wouldn't use that against him if he wasn't Scars son as well.

Yes but you must remember it's a Disney movie aimed at kids, and they realized that technically you can't really have that in a movie directed at kids.

But if it really bothers you, you can stick with the people who agree with the fact that Nuka and Vitani are Zira's children, but not Scar's (I actually don't care about that)... With that, there is no more family relation to start with.
And well, there is no point for me to continue explaining myself. I'm sorry if you can feel offended in any way by this pic or my way of thinking, but well... The pic is done, and I'm not gonna stop liking the pairing just like that - can't help my feelings

The family links are very ambiguous in this case... They never state exactly about who's Nuka's and Vitani's father. We only know that Kovu isn't Scar's son. And even there, at the beginning (when they put Kovu in the story and when he became Kiara's lover) he was meant to be his true son, but then they thought about what you said, so they changed that, and officially stated in the movie that he isn't his son. But they left the question be, about Nuka and Vitani

I understand, I just reckoned that Nuka wouldn't have said "Kovu, Kovu, Kovu, Scar wasn't even his father, just took 'em in..." And I fugured if he wasn't Scars son he wouldn't have used that against Kovu. Then again, he is the only one who wants to kill Simba for reasons other than to avenge Scar, so it is up for debate.

That's why I don't think very much about that. I know that it was a deleted scene where Nuka and Vitani were spying the Pride Rock when Kiara was presented to all the animals, and then they went running back to Zira to report, and say it's a girl and all. Then she mentions something about Scar, and Nuka goes like "who?" at the first moment
But again, that may be just because of the fact that Nuka is... well... Himself XD
