I actually don't like Venus, but I needed a girl so I decided... Why not? (April is overused.) I guess I could have went with Mona Lisa but then no one really knows who that is... Or Ninjara. But no one knows that either. Venus came from Fox's awful show. She had potential but bad costumes, and a power rangerish way ruined it.
