Was supposed to be my last pic of 2008 but now it's the first pic of 2009! My PC was processing so slowly ~_~' Oh well~This is my original character, Lilith. I illustrated this picture to commemorate her birthday (date of creation) which was on the 17th December. It happens to be the same birthday as ~mejiro so this deviation is dedicated to her too~ ^o^/
Lilith receives a blue rose as a birthday present from a mysterious person (actually it's fairly obvious that it's from Aristo, who adores her very much... but his character hasn't been introduced yet XD)

In some cultures, blue roses signify a mystery, or attaining the impossible, or never ending quest for the impossible. They are believed to be able to grant the owner youth or grant wishes. Blue roses also convey inner feelings of love at first sight, being enchanted by something or someone,or hope against unattainable love.

It's nice how the rose stand out, and Aristo must love her so much for give her an uncommon thing as a blue rose is. But Lilith don't look interested in it...

Thanks, I'm glad you think it's pretty ^^ Lilith has no expression or feeling, so the rose makes no impression on her at all (poor Aristo tries so hard to impress her, lol)

Aww, I thank you on Lilith's behalf XD Her birthday gave me the perfect excuse to draw her as it's been ages since the last time I did a proper illustration of the character. I want to start introducing some of the other characters she meets in her universe :3
