The choosing of the color in this is fabulous, as is the table setting and the way the cat looks. It's absolutely adorable! The only thing is the distance between the left edge of the frame and the main focus center (the cat) is way too much, I see, perhaps you may have wanted to show the rest of the table but if the cat was closer to the center it may have the picture have more feeling. I love the slight slant to the table line, it makes it feel more old-fashioned and 'unique' I hope you do more pieces like this!

This is an excellent photograph!
I love your use of value and strong lines, the perspective really sets the scene for the image. The color balance is soft and inviting and makes the image very appealing and easy on the eyes.
The only negative comment I have about this piece is that the object on the left side of the image distracts you from the main focus and disrupts the balance with its strong black value. I feel if you cropped some of it, but not all of it, out, it would draw more attention to the very hungry kitty.
Your cat is adorable and I really like that he/she isn't looking directly at the camera and isn't in the center of the frame. This avoids all cliche elements people use in animal photography while still producing a really strong image.
Overall this is an excellent image with strong concepts of design and an eye-catching subject matter. It demonstrates clear understanding and appropriate usage of the camera and the artist clearly has a good grasp of artistic principles.

I love this! Although, with the above critique, I think that the object in the left does not take away. You focused in on the cat enough that it is intriguing to the eye. I like it being uncentered. And your cat is gorgeous!

Haha, I have a cat that does that, too. She'll come on the table, we put her on the floor and she's right up on there again. Very stubborn, but adorable. XD;

My cat used to do that all the time. It would even get into someone's lap while still being oblivious to the person, paying attention only to the food.
