The more I tried to highly render the details of the characters, the more I realized that they weren't really contributing to the overall message. I decided to go with something I feel is a little more symbolic of the situation.

If you critique, please read the story in the journal so you understand what I am basing my entry on. In fact, read it anyway. It is truly inspiring.

It looks like an advertisement or something you'd see in a magazine!

The story my friend told for the contest really got me thinking about my own manner of seeing the world. Thank you for your support.
