That stupid dog. I binched the anime back in the days. Then I wrote my bachelor thesis on the manga. Weird world.

Gin! His paws on his right side looks kinda funny to me, but other than that he's great here! Not as much akita-looking as I'd like, but his structure is very clear and you can see well the muscles under that fur even with this little detail. Again, great work!

True, I am not too happy with the paw, either. I tried to add some perspective, he's moving that paw in the middle of the run - kind of thing.
The way to make him look more akita... it's the face, isn't it? Or where should I adjust it next time? Thanks for your comment!

Yes, it's the face. And the ears. They look very general canine style without any distinct akita-like details. Maybe next time you should use as a reference a photo of akita?
