Description Like Oh.My.God.
This is my first coloured digital art EVER. Just got my new Wacom Intuos 5. This took me 5 hours. It could've been better but at this point, I am so tired and I just wanted to call it in. Digital art is hard! So much to learn! I spent way too much time zooming in and pixel peeping to fix stupid lines because the magic wand didn't give me a clean cut image when I was clipping masks (even then, I didn't fix everything - too much work!). Sigh! I need to read more tutorials; there has to be a better way!

I was trying to colour Yui like how the Yabuki Kentarou did for that cover page (the one where it's snowing). Unfortunately, I obviously failed and was too tired to spend another 5 hours getting it right.

P.S. It might/might not be obvious but I spent the majority of the 5 hours on the hair, then on fixing/correcting lines, and by the time I got to the clothes/body, I was just like, 'forget it'. lol

Credits to DutchLion for the lineart.

Its really good! Just look at where the light may fall for shading. It looks like you've done that! I'm starting in digital myself . Had a few struggles. but it gets easier the more you go !
