Description It has been a long time since an Arapt ruled a Lokk, though it is certain that Arapten culture and language had a serious impact and influence on those of the Lokks, especcially on those nobles and merchants that took the time to learn the Arapten language, whilst most Lokks could barely write their own name.

One thing that was definitely the result of Arapten influence was the flag of the Empire of Einesraum. The origins of the flag, and the influence that the flag of Rakghiye (an Arapten Emirate) had upon it is described in the Declaration of Empire; a document written up by the thousand or so Lokkic military leaders, nobles, merchants, and self-declared heads of state that came together so long ago to unite the Lokks, and to prevent the land falling into the hands of the Arapten ever again.

"For a thousand years and more the Lokks have been ruled under a banner of black, red, white and gold. The black, a representation of the Arapten tyranny and desire for power, this we reject. The red, white and gold we do not reject, though we are aware of their meanings; these we reject. We take these colours, given to us by our oppressors, and we make them our own. A white square, representative of our purity and our union; a gold square within that, representative of our newfound prosperity and the part that the merchants have played in uniting our nation; a red diamond upon that square, representative of the blood spilt by the Lokks to defend their rightful lands, and the blood of the nobles that have also sought to unite our nation; and within that a white sun cross, representative of our faith and our defiance, with a gold halo or crown above it, representative of both the new day that dawns on the Lokkic realms and of the part that royalty has played in our union. So it is written, so it shall be; this is the symbol of the One Land."
