I feel almost kind of bad submitting this to a contest .__.
This is for summer contest
:/ I almost don't want to submit it though to keep it fair since everyone else did traditional media

ANYWAY
HERE'S A JOURNAL ENTRY BY FELIX TO FURTHER EXPLAIN THE IMAGE:

"June 17th.
It's so damn hot, so damn sticky. I'm sure both of us are allergic to something in this forest, my eyes and EVERYTHING is itching and irritated. I don't know how much further it is until the pit stop. These damn thick forests make it impossible to bring anysort of vehicles in here; Messiahs, Mechs, dragons, and even horses aren't allowed to tred in this forest because HQ is afraid they'll disturb the indigenous elf folk. All 63 kilometers of forest have to be crossed on foot.
But you know I kind of like being on long travelling missions like this with only Zulrich. It gives us soooo much time together all by ourselves and no damn paper work to do. And the Adelae Forest is absolutely beautiful. Zulrich seems to be enjoying himself too. That makes me very happy.
I just wish it wasn't freakin' 37 degrees Celsius up here.

Haha, well right now Zulrich and I are taking a break by a trickling of water right before a cave entrance. He's so cute. We were approaching the cave when he noticed the trickling, Hehe, I thought he was just gonna play with the water a little, but the first thing he did was jump, kick off his boots, throw me his backpack and then he ran under the trickling.
I've been through alot to day. Getting snagged by all sorts of plants, ripping half my shirt off, ripping half my pants off (mooning Zully :'D ), tripping, scraping, smacking and all that good stuff, but you know... It's okay. Zulrich was there to pick me up, laugh at me, and help me. ... all at the same time x3. I wish I was as nimble and small as Zully... and optimistic. He's so cute.
By this tiny water fall he said to me "This makes all of that worth while" I thought it was funny that he believed such a small reward could make up for all the crap we went through. But I guess... You know I guess, he's right. Even a little good could outweigh past and passed bads.
I never looked at it that way.
It's so pleasant how good water feels on a hot day.
Life is getting better without even changing.
