First let me say sorry for taking a long time to submit a critique to this picture you have done. Next I like the extra details you have done on the face with the aging on this person's face. I also like the veins or webbing on the face. The only thing I see missing is the mouth on this person's face. Other than that I see nothing wrong with this picture you have done. This piece is an absolutely stunning photo manipulation. I love the way you've warped what appear to be roots into and around each detailed features of the face creating an excellent mask of wrinkles, emphasising on the title of the piece. The textures applied to the face itself add further reinforcement to the concept whilst the hollow nature of the face help to add to the emotive senses of darkness and emptiness so often associated with growing old. The sharp, craggy edges applied to the facial features give a feeling of an association to a withering witch, again reinforcing the emotive impact this image holds. Truely stunning piece. Top marks. Hope to be able to create something like this myself one day. Keep it up.
