I love this artists style. There is something original and unique about all the images that this artist produces, but this is the most original piece (in my opinion) out of all the other pictures in the artists gallery. Why? The title for a start "Savage" is reflected within this piece. There is something savage about this artwork that invokes a feeling of fear and terror yet leaves you questioning bigger ideas. Ideas including how we see ourselves and the idea of inner beauty is something "savage" and untamed. The eyes are something else. They are the most striking part of the whole painting and therefore give this painting the most impact. This is due to the bright and piercing quality of the eyes in comparison to the darker and more gothic tones used for the face.
Overall, a truly savage piece of artwork.
