For every moment I gaze at this work, a very human terror begins to swell in me. It is not a fear 'of' something, not a phobia that I feel. I feel pure, overwhelming terror. Since my fear has no content, it moves through my spirit as would a bolt of lightning, air. Very soon I am encompassed by the dark. I cannot look at this piece for very long.
