I haven't had a lot of time to draw for myself this month, but after listening to Clint Mansell's "Moon" soundtrack for like the millionth time I just had to get a Sam and Gerty doodle out of my head and onto the screen.When I showed the pic to Gerry he said I could improve the piece 100% with the following addition: [link]

I agree. Moon was one of the greatest sci-fi I've seen. The plot was unique, the soundtrack was music to my ears. Even though GERTY 3000 was a robot and had simple emotions.... he ("We're not programs. We're people") was the most touching character.

aah~ moon. watched it a year ago. i still remember my cousin kept saying that she wanted that kind of robot. so humble and always concern of that guy eventhough he is abit bitching at the bot. comes to think of it, it will be also great if i had one too. lol

This is great! My brother was a judge at the Newport Film Festival, and he told me how great this movie was. The writer was even there, and he wore the yellow suit!) He loved it, so I got it for his birthday. And I watched it and it was soooo good! I didn't think there was Moon stuff on DA! You really got Sam Rockwell's face right in this, and Gerty looks great!
