This has been languishing on my hard drive halfway colored for God knows how long... I found it a couple days ago and decided to finish it since I always liked the concept... I just forgot about it entirely. XP
I know it's filler and movie/anime canon only, but I've always adored the childhood flashbacks they added of Inuyasha as a child, particularly the one of the other nobles of the court tricking him into thinking he could play with them and then deserting him. It's always had such a feeling of isolation and lonliness that I got this visual in my head and had to get it down on paper.
It's in the third movie, I believe, that Kagome explains the concept of a "sport" to him saying it's a game which makes him flash back to that again briefly before telling her "I don't like games."
I have a fully saturated version of this but the brightness of the red and yellow of the ball made it seem a little too... cheery. I tried kicking down the saturation just a touch and this seemed to work a bit better. (This is why I let pieces sit overnight before I post them. lol)

Yeah these parts really kill me, so sad. And even though it's only filler it still seems like something that could happen in the main series, unlike the Naruto filler. Although their stories of loneliness are up there with this stuff

Yeah, it really is unfair to artists. They work so hard on each piece and decide to share them with the world knowing that Internet it's a risky place and people still abuse of what they have and disrespect others. people should stop a minute to think about what they do, sometimes...

Well, when you look at it, it looks almost like 3-D.So yes, depth of feild, but your shading is also pretty good.
