I think the feeling to always wanting to improve and never feeling fulfilled with your works even if others love it and envy such talents/skills is a thing all artists feel.

I've have/had ideas and comics/plots/characters come and go dancing in my head and trying to make such characters and ideas on paper and attempted art many time in a notebook or sketch paper and while some others like it I'm never happy with it thus they don't show up on this site plus it takes forever for me to do just one character in sketching while it takes others seconds or few minutes to do the same and done better plus color and lineart it better. I've tried recently to make some basic art on OCs from artist who inspired me to join and since joining DA to honor and pay respects to (and their are many and each day I find more inspirations and great characters) but the few I did make I don't feel happy about.

Overall the quest for a great style and art form we like and can make in a timely manner is never ending and we could be the best of the best but personally feel otherwise.

lol, very true, not to say i am unhappy with my art, im just looking to improve, but i do get where your coming from

well i hope you reach a pint where you like your art enough to post it, would love to see some of these comics/plots/characters of your. i know its kind of lame but the best way to improve is just to keep practicing, try copying others people works and adapting what you learn to your own style, its how i do it ^^
