Description "A vampire about to feast on a girl... while feeling her up."

"Yeah, yeah. Talk about playing with your food! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"

"Anyway, I'm not really much into the modern moody vampires who're all emo and shenanigans but I thought 'hey, why not give drawing a modern typical anime vampire a try?' and thus I gave it a try."

"I took no enjoyment in it. The only thing I like about it is the tattoos.... and the girl. Other than that, that's the last time I'm drawing a modern moody vampire again."

"More into the vampires for ze old times, like Dracula, y'know?"

Gotta love Dracky but I dislike the emo type vampires. XD;; I'm starting to see them everywhere.

but I don't think you did a bad job. For some reason that position is haaard for me to draw.

Despite the sudden merge of vampires into modern pop-culture mainstream, this is a fine piece of work that can still trace back to the good old vampire roots. It's sensual with a nice balance of dark and style. I love the edge of the piece and how you cut off the dress to frame it, with the tattoo-esque designs in the background to unify all of it. The only I would suggest you work on is the hands (lower ones). But besides that, really nice job.

Dracula rocks mah socks. This twilight crap...yeah, I read the books, but they're seriously over-popularized. Vampires are/were cool because they were enigmatic and distant. You could detach by reading a book and just be left alone. Now if you're caught reading a vampire novel, everyone runs up to you and screams, "OMG HAVE YOU, LIEK, SEEN TWILIGHT!??"

Screw off, bitches. The only cool one was James, and he dies. And NO, I have not seen the movie. *is proud of self*

My fav vampire novel thus far is The Tale of the Body Thief. You should pick that one up and skim it, Kp. I'd love to see you draw Lestat or Armand. ^^

Anyway, cool drawing, as it is!

I have to admit, that although I do like Twilight (go ahead, laugh) I believe that Stephenie Meyer left out many main details of true vampires. If she had put in just a small amount of original vampire traits, the books, and movies, would have been much better.

And p.s. James, although being a skilled hunter, was in no comparison to Laurent. He should not have died.
