Description
Version 2 (well actually version 5, but who's counting). I used a different image for shading reference, and didn't crop it as close, as a few viewers had suggested. Also used a finer shred, compared to the size of the face, for better detail.Full View recommended (because of all the friggin detail in there)

It is pretty much what it looks like. I printed out the "I Have a Dream" speech, shredded it, then cut it up into pieces to resemble MLK and photographed it.

Glad you like it. I have plans to do more images in this vein This was the most time-consuming image I have done, which ideally would not be a factor in what I choose to work on next, but still...
Hopefully I'll have the patience again one day to devote to another piece like this.

Interesting comment. After looking at the two side by side, I was actually feeling that the *first* one was a more dynamic, a more dramatic, emotional expression, while this second one was a bit static.
That's the great thing about DA, the varied input from other artists.
