Look, behind you! Β Oh well, if they had seen it right away, maybe the story wouldn't last an entire issue. Β

Knowing nothing about these two characters, I am left to infer their personalities based on their visual ques. Β Looks like a classic "Youth + Experience" team-up And nice job on the background. Β I always feel like it would be fun to be Spider-Man swinging on a webline thru your cityscapes!

Actually, they are rather similar in age - and Peroxide is the slightly older one
It's more of a thief/government agent team-up.

If you wanna take a look, you can read the comic where they first meet here ( it's not finished yet, though ):

That was pretty cool. Β So the A.N.G.E.L.S. team eats pizza and kicks butt? Β Loved the dumb mooks

Thanks

Well, they eat pizza in this story. Just because they are in Chicago
They are a bunch of screw-ups/outcasts, who work for the A.N.G.E.L.S. agency undercover to get their lives back on track.
It is explained, at least a little, in the first story, "Operation Purgatory", that you can also find there.

I plan to build on the individual members a bit more over time

I love a good cityscape! Probably spend a bit too much time on them really, but I think a good background really sells a picture - especially something fantasy/sci-fi - and I just enjoy drawing them I guess! Thanks for the kind words and the - much appreciated! As for the storyline - well I have no idea what BC has in mind but he's so prolific I don't expect we'll have long to wait until we find out

Oh, I most definitely like, mate!
I will of course thank you for doing this, but even more, thank you for revitalizing my creative drive BY doing this.
Now I can't wait to finish the ongoing story, so I can give these two their very own adventure

As for the art itself, this is about to 100% what I had in mind
It fits the story perfectly, has a tease of the plot in it and looks just like the cover image I wanted.
Leutnant KieselgrΓΌn looks rather interesting in your style.
She looks good, of course, but that's not what I mean.
She looks unique, but I can't put my finger on it
In any case, she does look like a battle-hardened and experienced officer and not at all like a dollface.
Absolutely perfect!

Really pleased you like it, and if I've psyched you up to get back to the art (not that you ever really stopped!) then that's fantastic! I tried to adapt the way you drew Kieselgrun (how do you get the umlaut?) and she ended up looking a bit older than I wanted - so I'm glad that you're OK with it! Anyway, looking forward to seeing what you have in mind next for them

Ah yes, those. There actually is a trick to it
The German letters "ΓΌ", "Γ€" and "ΓΆ" don't exist on your keyboard, I guess. They are exclusive to us Schlanders
But if you write "ue", "ae" and "oe" instead, that's the same thing in German. So you may do that.

Yeah, she sure does. I think it's your style. You somehow manage to do more with simpler means.
For example, Centauri's outfit. It's simplistic, but it looks so damn cool and iconic.
In my style, I would have felt something was missing
I mostly add too many details. At one point contacted me and gave me the friendly advice that sometimes less is more.
It led to me improving a bit and I am grateful for it to this day
So my way of drawing facial features probably doesn't work that well with your style.
You tend to shade where I draw lines ( because I can't shade to save my life ).
And if you draw too many lines, it makes a character look overly masculine and old.

No funky symbols on my English keyboard unfortunately! There's probably a clever way of getting them involving function keys or something!

I know what you mean about the 'over drawing' thing - I have to fight it myself, as my instinct is to scribble! It's especially the case with female characters, where just an extra line or two can make them look much older. Working in photoshop is helpful here as at least I can erase those lines and experiment a bit. Anyway, thanks for your continued support with the commissions, and thanks for your patience in waiting for it

Like I said, just use the "ue" writing to move around that.
It really is the same thing in German and quite common to do this instead.

I know, right?
Well, you are most welcome! And I can be patient.
Still waiting for Sever's stuff, after all
