Is it really still 2020!?

Decided to take a break from painting miniatures and reading to get back into drawing, and immediately ran into a case of artist's block. Fortunately I have a number of interesting sources of inspiration lying around, and I ended up flipping through the art book for the old Warhammer Online video game. I had gone through it before, but only in brief, and it was a lot of fun reading about some of the concepts behind the design work, and seeing some of the beautiful stuff that they came up with (and, in some cases, went unused in the final game). That gave me all the motivation that I needed to come up with something, based around a line about "wielding the flames of creation" that the High Elf character says in Warhammer: Chaosbane.

That knocked a bit of the rust off, and now it's on to other projects. Who knows what (if anything) I'd work on next...
