My own take on Akhila, elements of corvid/caracal/clouded leopard. Gift for . I hope you like it, covikitty!
...oh, and I have to admit, I very very rarely draw wings. They're not a favoured subject matter. But I put an effort into these and I'm really happy with the results.

Right off the bat I can see a far more cartoony style than your usual. Coloring is good as usual, with wonderful detail on the spots and the overall pattern on the fur. You're really improving with your coloring: the highlights and texturing is very realistic.
However the anatomy is very weak. The rear legs look very poor and the front limbs a little goofy. The body is a little simplistic as well, and could have used a bit more color detailing. Foreshortening attacks again!
But the wings! Egad! Your hard work really does show on the wings, I applaud your beatiful results for something you claim to not do much/like. The face also has a lovely calm expression, and the coloring on the face is typically impressive. The eyes cross me as simpler than usual, but extremely fitting and effective for this piece.

I agree with Kikane; you really got the soft texture of a feathered wing. The slanted pose just gives this even more personality..Wonderful work. ^^
