Description I found a very pretty photograph of eurasian collared dove in one bird book. And it screamed "PAINT MEEEH" and I took my brand new watercolours [which I got from thanks honey] and... well, you can see the result here.

This was really relaxing to do. Though I noticed I had forgotten to put final touches to some areas, so I guess I'll scan this again later.

Yes I know collared dove isn't exactly like that, I mean it's tail feathers should be lighter and so on, but I wanted to play with colours.

Piti tulla kattomaan et millasia töitä ite teet, nämä on kyl vallan mainioita! Vitsi kun osaisin samalla tavalla maalata yhtä realistista vesiväreillä, niin että taustalla ei olisi niin voimakkaat värit kuin etualalla

Haha, when I saw this submitted to the pigeon BOTM I panicked because I thought you stole it from ~Chrysaetos . It was one of my favorites. Thank goodness you're just a new account, same person

Kiitos Rakastin noiden pyrstösulkien maalaamista :herat: ja toi oksakin oli ihan kiva tehdä. Lol missäköhän toi orginelli on, en muista nähneeni tätä aikoihin missään lojumassa... :'D

Beautiful watercolor work, looks painfully detailed, i really admire your patience. The pose you chose for the pigeon adds in to the magnificence of this piece !
