we tried that too, the tins of beer thing.
it never worked. slugs killed our tree because they were sober.
if I saw that pool of juice, I'd pee in it, giggle about it, and then leave.
or, I'd just stare at it with my 3843947 eyes and be confused and want to hear it through my legs.

Well, what would YOU do if you were a fly and you suddenly came upon a swimming pool of delicious juice?
My dad used to put out tins of beer so the slugs would drink it and then get drunk and drown in the beer.

Thanks. I used a Canon MP-E 65mm macro lens on an EOS 20D body, with a tripod and focusing rails and all that jazz.
