Plunder the Pirate Goblin from my upcoming book 'Fleming's Field Guide to North America Goblins.' This image, among others, can be seen in my newly released 2010 calendar on lulu.com. This little guy was created in Photoshop using a technique I pioneered, which will be the topic of one of my upcoming Photoshop books. I wanted to create a new technique for quickly rendering realistic fantasy characters and I'm pleased to say it works very well. Well, the book is a bit behind sadly. Life getting in the way an all that but it's nearly complete. I'm also working on a CD of elements to create these little critters.

this is so creative and doesn't look like digital at all. More like artisan art, made of materials. So excellent. Really love it!

Glad you like him. I did 3D animation for so many years, writing 10 books for the industry, and grew tired of all the labor involved in making something realistic. So, last year I decided to create ways to achieve 3D, realistic characters without doing 3D and with a lot less effort and time
