Description ‘You. You who are destined to spill you’re father’s blood,
Why did you come here? What right have you, an upstart prince,
To slay my son?
He was born an innocent without human rage or hate,
It was men like you who made him the monster of the maze.
My child held of Athens in trembling fear but it was not he
Who ripped the city’s children from their mother’s arms.
What was he to do with their flesh but fulfil his King’s desires?
Twas always the man who should have wept and not the beats,
For a bull eats no meat.
But here you have him nonetheless, were you proud in his death?
Did you delight in slaying my boy, the blind creature in Hell?
Imprisoned by my husband, slaughtered with his sister’s blessing
Do you suppose he felt nothing?
It was a human heart that beat within a human chest.’
