No babies yet. Any time now. Fred has about 6 cows in the calving pen. I think they are waiting for it to warm up.

Candace that's the song!! Oh my gosh, that took me way back. Thanks so much for finding it! My mom has been gone now for 20 years, it makes me miss her for sure. Although, I must say, I hated having to get all dressed up for Easter, and to wear the stupid Easter Bonnet was totally humiliating to me. I was a Tom Boy with a passion. LOL, what memories!

Remember to get pictures of the babies for me!!
We've had the weirdest winter here in Denver. No snow in the city at all. We are dry and burning. Thankfully the mountains are getting it! Today it is actually cold. the past many weeks it's been in the 60's and 70's. Gross, I hate warm weather.

Our temperatures have taken another plunge and we have had -40C windchill's yesterday and again today. Spring can't come soon enough for me. It has been an exceptionally long cold winter this year. The cows even seem to be holding off for warmer weather to start having their calves. It is supposed to start warming up after today and be melting by the weekend.
Yes, that song brought back memories for me to. I can see my mom dancing and singing around the kitchen. She loved hats and looked great in them. I on the other hand just look goofy.
