It reminds me of my flight from Bangkok to Hong Kong. I took a photo from the clouds, it's nearly similar, except that I have a wing of an airplane on my photo

I am so jealous that you got to see the real thing! sadly i haven't gotten the chance to see it in real life all my airplane flights were at night... but i got to see some scary lightings once!

Well as for lucid dreams sometimes i really manage to control them especially when i am flying but i have never gotten so high

Well that's easy to fix. you just move them where you want, in this scene its not the height that should bother you but the shadow of the clouds, they are not dropping any shadow at all, made them this way on purpose.
