One of the guys I follow on Twitter mentioned that there was not nearly enough fan art of this MLP:FiM background character.And there was a running joke during the Everfree Northwest convention to vote for, or re-elect, Mayor Mare.
So I combined the two, which resulted in this sketch.

in 2008 the other challengers were a Volkswagen Polo, a box of cookies and a random guy picked in Equestria who said during a debate he'd vote for Mare, then accused the cookie box's program being exaggeratedly fascist reading its composition.
