Whoa, sweet. I remember a friend of mine did something similar a few years back (I believe they went with a 'stitched doll on strings' though) and ever since I've really liked these kinds of ideas. And you're definitely right, the many of us do get pulled around like a puppet quite routinely be it school, work, romances, finances, etc.
